WELCOME
I
would just like to wish you a warm welcome to this
website which celebrated it's first birthday during
December. 2007 has been a trying year aviation photgraphy
wise. Several job changes and a house move seriously
dented my available holiday. That said, I did still
manage to get a few trips out, not nearly as many
as I would have liked and this is reflected in the
small amount of photo reports.2007 was the year that
the low level bug bit me hard. Previously I had always
been a lurker outside various RAF stations but once
I got a taste for the low fly areas I couldn't keep
away and the appeal of shooting landers and leavers
just isn't the same anymore.I hope that 2008 will
bring me better fortune on the hillsides and that
my very own grey cloud I seem to tow everywhere, will
finally dissipate.Hopefully I will see some of you
up there.

RAF Waddington

A last
minute decision took me to the boundaries of RAF Waddington
for the arrivals day prior to the two day air show.
The line up was much better than recent years and
the opportunities to shoot aircraft head on from outside
the base were not to be missed. click

RAF Leeming
18-06-07 
June brought
one highlight (and it wasn't the weather) in the form
of a Cottesmore Aviation Group visit to RAF Leeming.
The base will cease operations with the Tornado F3
in early 2008 and so this trip was for me, a last
chance to get up close to this beautiful interceptor.

day was spent at RAF Lyneham, the home of the Hercules.

Jaguar
Tribute 
A page
dedictated to the small but mighty Jaguar. I was lucky
to spend quite a few days outside the base at RAF
Coltishall and it was one of the best place to view
landers and leavers. The thrill of your whole body
shaking as the jets held on full power at the 22 end,
will be hard to beat. click

- August 2007 
FRUSTRATING
is the word that sums up three seperate trips to this
low fly area. Weather was my enemy and my last visit
drew a blank. Although some nice movements just
about made it worthwhile. click

Rounding
off a busy few weeks with a trip to Coningsby to see
the Jaguars. Sadly, that was not to be but the Typhoon

A freezing
cold day was spent at CBY with the hope of some Jags
in the snow. Sadly that didn't quite work out, but
some winter sunshine and a visit to the opposite end
of the runway yielded some reasonable results. click

bitterly cold 7 hours up a mountain, with days like
these you do wonder why you bothered. It was bust

RAF Coltishall
2005-2006 
This glorious
historic airfield was home to the Jaguar force but
sadly closed on 1st April 2006. This gallery has a
